Check Out This Cherry 2012 Lexus LFA Currently Up For Sale (Fridays are for F Presented by Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus)
Dream car alert! Lexus LFA–#107 of 500 made–is fully stock and clean as a whistle; and this rare beauty is on the market.
One constant among automotive enthusiasts is its unfettered devotion to the Lexus LFA. The LFA is one of those cars that can unite all manner of gearheads. Next year will mark a decade since the last LFA came off the lines; and the supercar is more popular than ever. It is also more elusive than ever. Which, honestly, only adds to its appeal.
Lexus produced only 500 LFAs from 2010 to 2012. They might not have expected the cult-like following that would follow the LFA. But the Lexus supercar blazingly announced the ability of the F Performance line with a roaring, revving V10.
Finding a Lexus LFA for sale is a once in a blue moon moment. But we found one, and it is … perfect. And it is also a perfect way to wrap up the week for Fridays are for F.
Listed for sale at Mouse Motors, the price is not listed. But, if you have to ask, chances are it is a lot. The sticker price in 2012 was $393,600. And the Lexus LFA repeatedly scores major coin for dealerships and auctions; recently ranging from $808K to over a one million dollars.
And it just might be worth every penny.
This 2012 Lexus LFA is number #107 out of 500 built. It is so fresh and clean, it looks like it was never driven. And, with 123 miles on the odometer, that may very well be the case. Especially considering that 33 miles were put on the ticker by Lexus engineers for post-production quality confirmations.
Decked out in Absolutely Red outside; the interior is finished in Cream leather on the seats, door cards, center console, and steering wheel, and features a Camel Yellow Alcantara headliner and matching carpet.
Full black leather covers the dash, and the sporty carbon fiber adds a slick and glossy snarl to the trim panels. Additionally, the metallic brownish-black anodized trim surrounds the center console. Comfort and amenities include 10-way adjustable power seats with heaters, Mark Levinson 12-speaker premium surround-sound audio system, Bluetooth accessibility, and more.
While inside is very lush and uptown, it is still an LFA. Lexus built this car to drive like heaven; with an exhaust note that sounds straight out of the gates of Hell. Performance is optimized and enhanced by floor-mounted billet machined aluminum foot pedals, and a digital gauge cluster with easy-to-access buttons to adjust settings.
But the real star of the LFA is the beastly 4.8-liter V10 engine. It pumps out 552 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. It also has a sound that makes our spine melt. Pure, raw, and one of the finest sounding engines ever.
Fully stock, it has a Torsen limited-slip differential, factory carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes, and bi-xenon headlamps with headlamp cleaners.
Yeah, it seems likely that Lexus may bring back the LFA. But it will not be running on that magnificent V10. And we can’t help but feel that the 2010 to 2012 LFA was uniquely a rare moment unlikely to be replicated.
We don’t know who will be the lucky new owner of the 2012 Lexus LFA, but they are in for one wild ride. Take us with you?
