2013 Lexus IS F Gets Updates
Continuous improvement is key to the success of every Lexus model, especially the hot rod Lexus IS F. For 2013 the IS F is essentially a carryover of the USE20 chassis but with a few improvements.
The most significant changes for the 2013 IS F are minor but welcome. Lets take a look:
This feature allows IS F to enjoy the Lexus Enform 2.0 App Suite as featured in the 2013 GS. Open Table, Facebook Places and Pandora are just some of the apps that can be utilitzed.
This is a must for any smartphone user. Gone are the days of manually inputting your contacts in your Lexus’ address book, now it can be done wirelessly and automatically via bluetooth!
A welcome feature that even the 2012 Toyota Camry enjoyed. HD Radio’s clarity is very similar to CD quality audio. Because of HD Radio’s capabilities, some HD stations feature a multicast of two radio programmings on one frequency. This is definitely something that should be standard on every Lexus model. If you happen to hear your favorite tune on the radio but don’t know the name of that song, you can now tag the song to be bookmarked in your iTunes’ catalog!
A very popular pearl white which was introduced in 2007 is finally getting updated with a brighter and more whiter Ultra White. This is also known as White Nova in the European market. Mercury Metallic is also being retired in place of the very lustrous Liquid Platinum, a color which was first featured on the 2013 GS.
