2022 Lexus LX 600 ‘Ultra Luxury’ FIRST LOOK — LA Auto Show
The Lexus LX 600 Ultra Luxury aims to be must-own for black-car service limo companies… while still being able to head off-road.
It’s an exciting time for those waiting to buy the new Lexus LX flagship SUV. We recently took a tour of the 2022 Lexus LX 600 F Sport at SEMA 2021. And today we’re checking out the 2022 Lexus LX 600 Ultra Luxury package. Like the F Sport trim, the Ultra Luxury is also new for the 2022 LX. And the best way to describe this one is, it’s the limo version.
Where all other 2022 LX SUVs boast three-row seating, the Ultra Luxury package instead opts for four-passenger seating. That’s right, in addition to heated and ventilated front seats, rear passengers sink into heated, ventilated, massaging, and lye-almost-flat rear captain’s chairs. Paired with dual 11.4″ HD displays, wireless charging, a plethora of storage and USB ports, rear passengers are in charge of everything. Seating position. Heating and cooling. Audio/visual entertainment. They can even push the front passenger seat all the way forward to enjoy First Class style legroom.
Overall, my first impressions of the Ultra Luxury package are positive. Rear seating is extremely comfortable and customizable. It’s a lot like the LS 500’s top package in that sense. But is it actually ‘ultra luxury’ when compared to European brands? I’m not so sure.
