2023 Lexus IS F Sport Models Get New Limited Trim Packages
The 2023 Lexus IS debuts with enhanced F Sport trim packages, additional luxury options and two limited edition packages.
The 2023 Lexus IS provides an ideal blend of luxury and performance in the compact premium sedan segment. The current generation launched in 2021, receiving a significant bump in performance for 2022. This year Lexus continues tweaking the model by adding two limited edition F SPORT packages and offering some additional enhancements. While most changes are cosmetic, they are striking and enhance the IS’s distinctive looks.
IS 500 F SPORT and IS 500 F SPORT Premium
For 2023 Lexus will offer a very limited Special Appearance Package on the IS 500 F SPORT Premium. Limited to 150 cars, this exclusive packaging includes Molten Pearl exterior paint. The glowing orange hue is complemented by 19-inch Matte Black BBS forged alloy wheels. The 2023 Special Appearance Package also includes unique color-matched floor-trimmed mats and matching key gloves.
IS 300/IS 350 F SPORT
Not to be left out, the IS 350 is offered in a new F SPORT Design grade. It includes new exterior styling for the bumpers, grille, and rear lip spoiler. Also new is a handling package with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), a Torsen Limited-Slip Rear Differential on RWD models, and Drive Mode Select with Sport S/S+ and Custom Modes. New 19-inch Matte Black BBS forged alloy wheels compliment the new looks and handling.
The IS 350 F SPORT also gets an exclusive Special Appearance Package. It features Incognito paint accented by an Obsidian black hood and roof. 19-inch Enkei alloy wheels with a dark finish complement the look, which is only available on a limited run of 480 units.
IS Drivetrains and Powertrains
The 2023 IS continues with both rear- and all-wheel drive powertrains. The rear-wheel-drive IS 300 boasts a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 241 horsepower and 258 lb-feet of torque. Step up to the IS 300 AWD, and ou’ll find a 3.5-liter V6 with 260 horsepower and 236 lb.-feet of torque. Next, the IS 350 — either in rear or all-wheel-drive — offers another 3.5-liter V6, this one producing 311 horsepower, 280 lb.-ft. of peak torque.
Back for a second year is the IS 500 F SPORT Performance. As the halo model in the IS family, it gets the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 which generates 472 hp and 395-lb.-ft. of torque. Coupled with an eight-speed Sport Direct Shift automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels, it offers even more exhilarating performance. It also offers an incredible V8 soundtrack thanks to a throaty quad exhaust system with dual-stacked tailpipes.

Optional colors include Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0, Ultra White, Eminent White Pearl, Cloudburst Gray, Iridium, and Infrared which are available for an additional charge.
