2023 LC 500

The 2023 Lexus LC 500 range is as beautiful as ever and receives minor tweaks to make it more desirable than ever.

Gray paint is rarely headline news. But when you build a car as stunning as the 2023 Lexus LC 500 there is not much you need to change other than some shades of paint. Lexus has recently announced the changes for 2023 that will be made to the LC 500, LC 500h, and the LC 500 Convertible. The changes are minor, but the LC range didn’t need much as it is already an exceptional car. Cloudburst Gray is a new exterior paint color. And the dynamic handling based on the Lexus Driving Signature has been tweaked a bit to offer even sharper control.

Not a lot is going to change for the 2023 model year on any of the LC 500 models. However, the few changes that will be offered will make the LC 500 even more desirable than it ever has been. And we don’t know for how long Lexus will offer a naturally aspirated 5.0L V8 that sounds as lovely as the one found in the LC 500. So, if you were on the fence about buying and you are not ready for the EV experience then you might want to contact your local Lexus dealer about getting one of the 2023 models.

Lexus Driving Signature

2023 LC

For 2023, the LC 500 Lexus Driving Signature has been updated to improve the vehicle’s dynamic handling characteristics. The front and rear suspension settings have been optimized to enhance ground contact feel, linear steering response, and steering effectiveness in the high cornering G range. The result will be nimbler handling and a more responsive vehicle. These changes are on all three LC 500 models. Also, the available LC 500 sport package includes several performance elements. “This includes a Torsen limited-slip rear differential with Yamaha performance damper, performance brake pads, and Alcantara-trimmed seats. For 2023, the sport package with glass roof adds 21-inch forged alloy wheels with polish finish and Gloss Black accents.”

Design

2023 LC 500 Converitble

What more needs to be said about the design of the LC 500 models? Model is the perfect word as each of these are as gorgeous as you would expect a model to be. For 2023, Cloudburst Gray will be a newly available exterior color. Aside from that not much else really changes regarding how the car looks. And that is just fine with us.

Power

V8

The LC 500 and LC 500 Convertible share the same 5.0L V8 that produces 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque and sound great while doing it. The Convertible can hit 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and the Coupe shaves two-tenths off that. The top speed is limited to 168 mph, which should be plenty fast enough to get you to your tee time in time. The LC 500h combines a 3.5L V6 with two electric motors. The combined system output of the LC 500h is 354 horsepower. The LC 500h can run on electric power only up to speeds of 87 mph.

Multimedia

Dash

The 2023 LC comes standard with a 10.3-inch high-resolution split-screen multimedia display. It also is packed with Apple Car Play, Android Auto, and Alexa integration. Lexus Enform Safety Connect and Lexus Enform Remote both come with a free three-year trial. These systems will allow drivers to lock and unlock doors, start the engine and climate control, check the fuel level and more all through a smartphone. Also, the vehicle can send alerts for specific factory recommended maintenance, simultaneously alerting a preferred Lexus dealer.

Lexus Safety System+

Interior

The LC may look sexy and dangerous, but it has many advanced features to keep you safe. “Lexus Safety System+ features Lane Departure Alert with Lane Keep Assist. Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection is standard and includes features such as Frontal Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Detection. All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is also included, as is Intelligent High Beam that will default to high-beam mode when the road ahead is clear but will temporarily switch to low beams when headlamps or taillamps are detected.” Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is also standard. The convertible also has active roll bars that will deploy automatically if a rollover is detected.

Pricing and Availability
