2024 Lexus GX 550 Pricing Leaks via Dealer Pricing Sheets
If accurate, the 2024 Lexus GX 550 is looking like it could be a pretty solid deal compared to its predecessor and the competition.
The all-new 2024 Lexus GX 550 shocked the world when it debuted this past June wearing decidedly edgier styling that’s, well, done what few new vehicles have managed to accomplish over the years by appealing to pretty much everyone. The new GX is a stunner for sure, but aside from its old school boxy off-road-focused SUV looks, it also has plenty to offer in terms of capability and technology. By now, we know pretty much everything there is to know about the 2024 Lexus GX 550 – save for pricing – but now, it seems as if that information has leaked via official dealer pricing sheets, according to YouTuber TRD Jon.
As our host points out in this video, 2024 Toyota Tacoma pricing seemingly leaked recently only to be quickly debunked (although it’s actually out today as the Tacoma embargo just lifted). So as is always the case, we’ll take this info with a big grain of salt. However, while pricing for the redesigned pickup seemingly came out of thin air, this 2024 Lexus GX 550 info has reportedly been confirmed by multiple dealers, so it seems legit, to say the least, and there are some other reasons why that’s likely the case as well. Regardless, here’s the pricing for each trim in the 2024 GX lineup, according to the leak:
- GX 550 Premium – $62,900
- GX 550 Premium+ – $67,900
- GX 550 Luxury – $75,900
- GX 550 Luxury+ – $79,900
- GX 550 Overtrail – $67,900
- GX 550 Overtrail+ – $75,900
Right off the bat, it’s worth noting that this pricing is a bit higher than the outgoing 2023 GX, as one would expect from a brand new from the ground-up product. The 2023 GX 460 starts out at $60,225 – marking a $2,675 increase over the new base Premium model – followed by the GX 460 Premium at $61,560 and the GX 460 Luxury at $70,880. None of these prices include destination and delivery, and as one can see, it’s difficult to make an apples-to-apples comparison given the GX’s rather major trim level shakeup here.
If accurate, these prices obviously make the GX a bit of a solid deal in today’s world, particularly since many believed the Overtrail was going to surpass the $80k mark when it launched. Coming in at $67,900, the regular Overtrail certainly seems like a fantastic deal, given the added off-road-focused equipment one gets such as a locking differential, 33-inch tires, and Lexus’ Electronic-Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (E-KDSS) system.
Of course, there are plenty of optional goodies one can add to the new GX, a list that includes the head-up display at $900 and the Mark Levinson sound system for $1,140, and there are loads of optional accessories to chose from as well, ranging from all weather floor mats to black emblem overlays to crossbars and even an onboard air compressor. Regardless, depending on how it’s spec’d, it certainly seems like the 2024 Lexus GX 550 is poised to be a competitive and compelling product in this hotly contested space.
