New Club Lexus forum member shares impressive dyno details during build update to her 1997 Lexus LS400 Coach Edition.

We’re always excited when we are randomly surfing through the Club Lexus forums and steer right into an interesting new thread. And of course, we’re always excited to share these finds with you as well. Today, we have an inspiring post that comes from new member Laura, whose handle in the Club Lexus forums is, appropriately, “97PCcoach.” Laura shares a couple of recent dyno videos that she made during the build done to her procharged 1997 Lexus LS400 Coach Edition. It’s a must-see post for Lexus fans, especially LS lovers.

Longtime Lexus owner and enthusiasts Laura clearly knows her stuff. She is a moderator of a Facebook page dedicated to Lexus LS400 owners, and her videos on the NW Performance Concepts YouTube channel are very well done in showcasing the power of her Lexus’ performance.

The ’97 LS is not Laura’s first Lexus, but it is the one–with some help from her fiance and uncle–that she has built and modded to become the precise Lexus that she has always wanted, and Laura proudly had a hand in each personal touch that makes up her ideal LS ride.

“I bought the car in 2018 after spending months looking for just the right car. …I definitely wanted something different and not so common. When I stumbled upon a 1997 with 180k miles, perfect grey leather interior and a nearly-perfect exterior, I fell in love and knew immediately that I had to have THIS particular car. I spent the next year and a half catching up on maintenance and just tidying him up all together…”

Check out Laura’s post here to read the full story and see the magic unfold on video. We think the thread may even inspire you to get to that home-garage project that you’ve been wanting to start for a while now.

So, join the forums and connect with fellow LS fans and other Lexus enthusiasts and let us know how your project turns out. And let’s all say congratulations to Laura on a job well done to her 1997 Lexus LS400!
