Should You Buy a Lexus LC 500 Convertible?

The Lexus LC 500 Convertible is sporty, but not a sports car. It’s a four-seater, but you can’t actually drive it with four people. It has a trunk, but not one big enough for a golf bag. And it has heated and cooled seats, but it takes a while to actually turn them on. It’s a glorious car, but, in our humblest opinion, one with a few compromises.

That being said, EVERY car has compromises, but who is the Lexus LC 500 Convertible really for?

To me, the LC 500 Convertible is the perfect luxury daily driver and or date-night weekend cruiser. If you’re looking for sporty luxury with head-turning good looks, but you want to be comfortable and connected for your commutes, this is for you. If you want to take your spouse out to the club or nights on the town, and it’s just the two of you, the LC 500 has you covered. Do you enjoy getting out of the city for drives up the coast? Even quick lunches and errands feel like an adventure in this car.

Is it practical in any way? Nope. (Sorry, parents.)

But, let’s be honest, the LC 500 probably isn’t your only cool car. But it’s definitely going to be the one you enjoy showing off. A lot. Everywhere. All the time. Okay, it has flaws but you should probably buy one so I can live vicariously through your social media.
