Generally, you figure if you hit a creature at 60MPH, it’s a goner. But one lucky red-tail hawk in Texas managed to survive just that! Of course, some patient Lexus techs also had a hand in this crazy story.
The LFA’s decade-long development is fascinating story of ambition, innovation, tragedy, and triumph. It’s an aspirational machine, meant to fuel dreams and inspire–even if few of us will ever get to drive it. Watch Lexus’ halo car go from fantasy to reality.
Apparently, the owner of this Lexus IS-F was caught street racing and had his car crushed. While this seems completely unreal, we know California police have done this before. Seems like these LFA Nurburgring Package videos have been dropping daily. But leave it to Chris Harris to top them all. Sure, the record-setting lap was impressive, but Harris’ commentary as he rips round the ‘Ring is what makes this so awesome. It feels like listening to an old friend relay the experience.

If we were, we’d want to be rolling in a Lexus LS570 pimped out by Alpine Armoring.
If you speak Japanese, you’ll be able to understand exactly what lucky journalist Manabu Kawaguhi says as he drives along Germany’s famous no-holds-barred highway. But even if your Japanese is as limited as ours–we can count to eight and drink Asahi–you’ll enjoy it, because the fantastic V10 speaks a universal tongue.
