As promised, Lexus has released a (kinda) new coupe in Australia yesterday: The LF-LC Blue Concept. Originally we were expecting a completely new car, but since the LF-CC was revealed a couple of weeks ago, this makes more sense.
Imagine. The rolling white hills of Laguna Seca. The empty track. The piercing howl of the LFA’s V10 at full tilt. I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a good day to me. One lucky Lexus fan was able to do just that.
Even if you don’t like drifting, what Daigo Saito has accomplished as a sportsman is worthy of mention. This guy is a rookie to the Formula D series in the us, but he’s already accomplished something pretty incredible at the closing competition at Irwindale Raceway.
The LF-CC was the crown jewel of Lexus’ booth at Paris. It might be the cool an classy coupe that captures the imagination of auto enthusiasts world-wide, but it’ll be the LS600h that carries the brand as it’s flagship.
You’d be forgiven for thinking that this photo was taken in Japan. You’d be wrong, but forgiven. After all, the confluence between anime and cars is one that we’re not used to seeing over here. Drifter X, however, has brought the “Itasha” trend stateside with his Clannad SC300.
The beautiful thing about blogging is that anyone can get started. That doesn’t mean that anyone will care, but when you’re the man responsible for the LFA, you basically have a built in audience.
