Too. Much. Sexy. Sheetmetal. Lexus UK just released this video on their face book page of the Lexus’ two super coupes yesterday. We’re guess the rain kept the camera from melting from the excessive hotness of these two being in such close proximity.
It was bound to happen. The FR-S has entered the drifting scene only to come against an SC430 at Formula D, New Jersey. Besides the SC300, these are the only two cars from Toyota that have found any kind of success in the professional drifting circuit in the US. Well. Besides the Supra anyway.
Lowered. Slammed. Dumped. Dropped. Bagged. Flush. Whatever you want to call it, it was there a the INFAMOUS car show at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. Both Hellaflush and Canibeat sponsored this celebration of low-ness and dopeness. Beautiful cars. Beautiful photography. All of the above.
Lexus did pretty well with their suped up IS-F CCS-R on Pikes Peak last weekend, placing second in their class. Luckily for us, they managed to stick two or three hundred GoPros to the car. They’ve released this video to celebrate.
There’s a new rumor floating about the internet concerning Lexus’ next IS F. In lieu of Toyota’s recent partnership with BMW, there has been some speculation about Lexus swapping out the the their 4.6L V8 for a twin-turbo six-cylinder engine. Possibly, even using the inline six from BMW.
Lexus and a whole host of other luxury manufacturer’s have been given “poor” marks in the IIHS new “small overlap” crash test. The test is designed to simulate a car crashing into a tree or pole from a glancing angle at 40 mph.
Wait, didn’t Lexus just kill off the HS? Despite that fact, it’s been spotted roving around the extreme environment of Death Valley, California. The interesting part is that it was accompanied by a hydrogen fuel truck. What this must mean is the HS is Lexus’ new guinea pig.
