I don’t know about you all, but I’m not sick of the RC yet. This is coming from someone who’s seen the car in person. I know Lexus tried really hard with the old IS F, but this car is just so much more attractive than the one it replaces. I could oogle it forever…
Paris Hilton gets a tremendous amount of flak for being famous for essentially no reason, but she can’t be faulted on her taste in cars. Case in point:
Well, if there was any question about the seriousness of Toyota’s commitment towards making Lexus a more attractive brand, let it be set to rest here and now. Tokuo Fukuichi, Toyota Motor Corporation’s global design chief, is now the head of Lexus International.
How many BMW’s out there can brag about hitting 200,000 miles? How many Mercedes can gloat about going 250,000 miles (besides the 240D)? If there’s one thing that Lexus is known for more than anything else, it’s reliability.
Ah, the IS-F. 2014 marks the last year the IS-F will be available. It’s a bittersweet feeling.
On the one hand, the IS-F has been Lexus’ constant performance vehicle. It debuted in 2007; three years before Lexus debuted the LFA. Until that point, it was the fastest thing Toyota built. It was a muscle sedan, plain and simple.
According to J.D. Power, Lexus has had the least number of complaints from new car owners over the last three years. They’ve been at the top of this list for the past three years also. Yep. Time to gloat.
You all already know about the LFA, so lets not waste any time blathering on about its harmonious V10, or its exquisite handling, or any of that. It is known. Instead, just enjoy this photo shoot of two LFAs chilling in a parking lot.
