Yes, the C7 Corvette is the obvious favorite in this comparison, but lets take a step back and look at the raw horsepower numbers. The C7 makes 455 horsepower by comparison the IS-F makes 417 horsepower. That’s not so big a difference right?
At this point i’m convinced that anything looks good on HRE’s. They’re like magic. It’s not like the last generation of IS was particularly ugly or anything, but these wheels though… Man.
Yep. This is a real thing that exists. It’s the closest thing to driving the kind of car a 5-year old would draw if you asked him. Welcome to Memphis.
Before going into this review, I assumed that the guys at Kelly Blue Book would be the most stuffy, bland reviewers to give an LFA to. As it turns out, I was very, very wrong.
Well, effort has to count for something right? Right?
Look, okay, so they might’ve failed horribly. But lets examine some of the redeeming factors:
1. You’ll never lose your car in a parking lot full of other GT86s.
2. It costs A LOT less than an LFA.
Lexus, you saucy minx you. It’s been abundantly clear that Lexus has been pushing their F-sport line of cars really hard this year, but we have yet to see a new “F” model. It looks like that wait is coming to an end very soon.
