Now the whole Lexus world of automobiles is open to you. The LFA might still be a little tough to get but short of that, there isn’t much you can’t put your hands on. In this price range, you could pick up some lightly used LS and LX models. Or we’d break the rules of this article and suggest going with a new Lexus.

For this, we recommend the outstanding Lexus GX 550 Overtrail+, which blends the best Lexus OEM off-roading components with a kiss of luxury-adjacent amenities. It’s not as big as the LX, but the driving experience is much improved. Or maybe you’d prefer the ultimate plug-in hybrid three-row crossover, the TX 550h+, which combines an ultra-smooth naturally aspirated V6 engine with a hybrid motor for over 30 miles of EV-only driving as well as quick acceleration and absolutely zero range anxiety.

But for my money, if you want to drop north of $70K on a new Lexus, there’s only one choice: a 2024+ Lexus LC 500 Convertible with the revised infotainment system. It’s a true wonder of luxurious amenities and immersive driving.
