Canadian 2014 Lexus IS Options Leaked!

As the 2014 Lexus IS production starts in Japan, build specs for the Canadian 2014 IS have surfaced. Although pricing has yet to be released, the spec sheets show several model options for both IS 250 & IS 350, RWD & AWD models.

The option matrix is a bit complex and confusing but it appears the package builds may give an idea to what will be offered in the USA aside from exterior colors. The “signature” model would signify the standard or base model IS. A two-tiered option package structure consisting of Premium & F SPORT will be available.

A few things to point out for Canada:

• No fog lamps on F SPORT models.
• No ventilated front seats for F SPORT models. 
• Atomic Silver (1J7) & Ultrasonic Blue Mica (8U1) are available for F SPORT.
• NuLuxe seating only for F SPORT.
• IS 350 AWD have 6 option packages available with the most options including an Executive F SPORT package.
• IS 350 RWD will have only 3 packages with the least options. 

The IS 350 RWD with the 8 speed AT will be the enthusiast model of choice, but sadly it will not have the features enthusiasts really want. I think if the Executive F SPORT package was available for the IS 350 RWD, it would make a lot more sense.
