It’s not news that Lexus has been going through a rebirth, and 2015 finds the company charging headlong into battle with the Germany’s performance icons. Keen to continue its recent inroads, the company is preparing and onslaught of new things to come during the next year—it’s a good time to be a Lexus fan.

I think I feel justified in saying that the CT could use some pizzazz. It’s not a bad car–it’s actually quite nice for a front-wheel-drive hatchback. The car is cozy and handles adequately… but it’s missing the x-factor. Lexus of China took a stab at adding some spice to the CT with this:

I’ll be honest – I’ve loved the CT200h since day one. It’s arguably one of the best looking hatchbacks in recent history, and even with its ho-hum performance, it’s rated highly as a great entry level car with solid road demeanor and driving dynamics.

It’s been three years since the introduction of the world’s first dedicated full hybrid compact hatch. Today Lexus has announced that the 2014 Lexus CT will debut in China at the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show on November 21.
