Lexus earned three top honors yesterday at the 16th Annual Residual Value Awards presented by ALG.

I’ll go on record and say this: I quite like the 2014 Lexus GX460. Something of an odd statement for someone of my particular demographic to say, but the luxury SUV definitely has presence.

The luxury SUV segment – a highly competitive playing field with rugged intentions but oftentimes ill-suited application. The GX sits in a price category that plays aggressively, filled with European peers that encompass both crossover and proper SUVs.

With 2014 coming quickly around the corner, Lexus has recently announced updates for the 2014 model year IS F, GS 350, GS 450h and the GX 460. The first 2014 model that was introduced this year is the all-new 3rd generation Lexus IS.

Today Lexus announced the pricing and updates to the 2014 Lexus GX 460. Aside from the lower MSRP and new option packages, the GX finally gets an updated exterior featuring the signature Spindle Grille. The second generation GX is based off Toyota’s legendary and proven Land Cruiser Prado.
