Caviar and Koi, the Lexus GS F Meets Some Complimentary Street Art
I have the Lexus GS F to review this week, and while driving around town enjoying the noise and power of that 5.0-liter V8, I stumbled (with a little help from a friend) onto a huge wall mural being painted on the side of an art supply warehouse. With the classical Japanese Koi imagery, there was no way I could pass up a quick photo shoot with the mighty Lexus sedan. When you couple in the fact that this particular shade of metallic paint is dubbed Caviar, it was too perfect to miss.
I could “entertain” you with commentary on how the pearlescent paint used in the fish scales adds depth you don’t normally see in street art. Or I could wax poetically about the juxtaposition that comes from the fury of the GS F’s aggressive design parked in front of such a delicate scene. But I won’t. Instead, I’ll just shut up and let you guys enjoy some great shots of a cool painting and an even cooler car.
Enjoy.
