Club Lexus Marketplace Spotlight: Extra-clean 2008 IS F
A forum member is selling his beloved IS F — because he just bought another one!
Looking for the Lexus of your dreams? Club Lexus has its own dedicated Marketplace section, where you can buy and sells Lexus cars and parts. It beats out other sites by offering a unique opportunity to buy from — and sell to — fellow Lexus enthusiasts. Best of all, it’s 100% free.
This 2008 Lexus IS F, currently located in Columbia, Maryland, is being offered for sale by Club Lexus forum member LexusfanVA, who has been a member for three years, and in that time, he’s been actively posting and sharing photos of his beloved IS F.
Now, he’s ready to move on. This IS F is in overall great condition. It’s had just two owners, including LexusfanVA. It has a clean Carfax, and just 98,400 miles on the odometer, or just under 9,000 a year. That’s about 25% below the average.
It’s loaded with options, too, including the Mark Levinson audio system, navigation, parking sensors, and headlight washers. Since picking the car up in late 2016, LexusfanVA has stayed on top of maintenance. He lists all of the maintenance he’s had performed in his ad. Highlights include new front brakes and a relatively fresh battery.
While the photos show a lot of upgrades, LexusfanVA is currently returning the car to stock. However, he’e letting the new owner enjoy the custom HID headlight setup, upgraded fog lights, and gloss black wrapped roof and grille. We appreciate the look. In addition, the windows have been tinted.
Despite driving the car year round, he’s been fastidious about keeping the car cleaned and detailed. He has it touchless washed two or three times per week, and it’s periodically detailed. Despite being driven in the winter, LexusfanVA claims that the undercarriage is clean and rust-free.
LexusfanVA is looking to get $25,000 out of the car, or $25,500 with a tune and upgraded suspension bushings. So why is he selling it? To buy another Lexus, of course. LexusfanVA has fallen hard for a 2012 IS F, and he’s selling this car to make space for it. It’s good to know that he’ll be a part of our community for a good long time yet.
