Club Lexus Member Makes Beautiful IS F Even Better

Lexus IS F

Starting out with a mint Lexus IS F doesn’t hurt this build, which has already progressed in a hurry.

For most of us, the Lexus IS F is a pretty much perfect machine as is. In fact, it’s easily the one car we wish the automaker would bring back. But that simple fact hasn’t stopped a multitude of Club Lexus members from modifying their rides with great success. Some for track use, others for street style. Member ALexusF aims to do a little bit of both with his IS F, a car that was already in absolutely amazing shape when he purchased it just a few months ago.

“New IS F owner here, just purchased it in May. Picked up this beautiful 2011 USB IS F w/52k miles on the odometer from Denver, Colorado. I drove back 958 miles from Colorado to California, best 13-hour drive ever. It’s pretty much all stock minus a K&N Typhoon intake and Borla catback.”

Well, mostly stock for a few minutes, anyway. The OP had plans to modify his shiny new Lexus immediately. And that process began with a host of new parts.

“I installed RR Racing Bazooka tips (in place of the Borla mufflers). Also purchased a USB paint-matched Ventross CF trunk, an OEM Black Pearl front Lexus emblem, and an OEM intake from a Club Lexus member. I’m also tossing around the idea of using Duplicolor’s Shadow kit to paint the rear emblems black chrome. Overall, the car’s coming along nicely!”

Soon afterward, the new Ventcross trunk showed up and the OP installed that. The rear of this Lexus was already looking pretty darn nice, but this wasn’t the end for that, um, end.

“Just got my Novel diffuser earlier today. Could not wait to get it on the car. Took roughly 1.5 hours once I figured out how it was supposed to be put together. Very sturdy and definitely an attention-getter.”

IS F Build

Just a few weeks into this IS F build, it’s already making great progress. As of right now, the OP is trying to decide whether he should buy a new set of wheels or a carbon-fiber Novel hood next. And personally, we’re pretty excited to see how this build progresses moving forward. So be sure and head over here to stay tuned as this beautiful blue Lexus continues to evolve!
