Could the New IS F Really Look This Good?

IS F render

While a high-performance model is yet to be confirmed, a new IS F render is already creating a groundswell of support.

In a new video from Luxurious Fleet, Kirk Kreifels points us towards a masterful 2022 IS F render. If Lexus is smart they won’t stray far, if at all, from the fan render when designing the next IS F.

Of course, it’s best to keep in mind this is only a fan rendering. But, when can forget that for just a moment and appreciate how gorgeous this vehicle looks.

“While Lexus did tease about a higher horsepower or higher performance variant…” starts Kreifels “It’s still left up to our imagination what that could be, and what that vehicle could look like.” Luckily for us, someone very talented made that a bit easier to picture.

First things first, the color on this IS F looks incredible! It can only be described as charcoal with midnight blue undertones. It’s simply stunning.

Another standout feature is the overall aggressive nature. This IS looks like it could hold its own with any high-performance sedan on the market. The spindle grille works flawlessly into the body lines of the hood and truly accentuates the hostility of the smoked-out LED headlights.

Just below the grille lays the front body kit. These blacked-out ground effects serve only to amplify the already threatening appearance.

The IS rides on a sweet split-spoke wheel and tire setup. The all-black wheels further accent the other black-out features such as the window trim and grille.

“Now looking at the back,” says Kreifels “The iconic quad-tip stacked exhaust. What else is there to say. Of course, they’re gonna bring it back from the old IS F and put it in this vehicle.”

Those stacked exhaust tips are unlike anything else out there. Yet another classic element of the IS aesthetic. Lastly, the rear sports a pair of smoked-out taillights that just look too good along with a larger rear lip. The rear appears just as aggressive as the front end. Every detail of this render works together to produce a masterful concept.

Will Our Dreams Come True?

“And giving us a savory powerplant with, let’s say a torque-vectoring differential, would be phenomenal,” says Kreifels “Heck, even give us an option of AWD on an upcoming IS F. All we would be lacking is a manual transmission…”

I think he speaks for all of us on that one. With as good as this car looks, if they could throw in two or even all three of those features, Lexus would have a new crowd favorite on their hands… As if they don’t have enough already.

Check out the video and see for yourself. This thing looks exceptional. Hopefully, it’ll get made.
