Coupé Concept Captivates Paris
Just a few hours ago Lexus formally revealed their latest creation at the 2012 Mondial de l’Automobile at the Porte de Versailles in Paris France. As Lexus wows the crowd in Paris, the world now has a direct portal into what could potentially be the Lexus everyone has been waiting for!
As we patiently wait for new photos from the Mondial Auto Show in Paris, our friends at AutoSpies.com gave us first hand detailed coverage of the captivating LF-CC concept. Check them out:
Lexus is one of the first to utilize LED headlamp technology in their concept and production vehicles. Notice the LED daytime running lamp below the headlamps are a continuous line just like the LF-LC concept and the new 2013 LS.
Large 20″ polished & brush metallic mesh type wheels are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S001, the same rubber used on the Lexus LFA. The large cross drilled brake disks and Lexus big brake calipers appear to be Brembo type hardware from the IS F!
Curved, angular and edgy. These LED taillamps give a crystal sunburst effect insuring that people behind will notice and steer clear of your rear.
The signature Lexus Spindle Grille’s shape is more apparent in this side profile. Notice the details of the LED headlamps and the sculpted diffuser-type lower front bumper fascia. This is reminiscent of what we first saw with the 2013 Lexus GS F SPORT.
A closer look at the three LED headlamp setup of the LF-CC.
The curvaceous spindle grille defines the front end of LF-CC. Note the blue lines accenting the hybrid Circle L in the front grille.
The roof mounted shark fin antenna has a new function, an LED center high mounted stop lamp.
It’s evident that the LF-CC’s interior has many influences coming directly from the Lexus LFA and the 2013 Lexus GS.
Notice the center biased tachometer which looks very close to what is currently in the Lexus LFA. Because this is a hybrid, notice the integrated power meter in the center of the tachometer. We hope this LCD TFT display continues to be utilized in future Lexus models.
More LFA-like qualities are evident in the interior of the LF-CC, namely the steering wheel with paddle shifters, the speedo cluster, the drive mode selector on the console and the matching upper dash pad to the seating surfaces.
More of LFA and GS influence the dash of the LF-CC as well. Note the integrated analog clock face and silver aluminum dash vents. Note the extra wide navigation display with an extension biased to the front seat passenger. The angled center console features a tracer touch display. Can you say Apple iPad status? Imagine if this cluster could be user customizable.
