Spotlight on Custom Lexus & JDM Rides at WekFest (Fridays are for F Presented by Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus)

WekFest is a unique enthusiast-driven event that has inspired custom Lexus builds that are cool, wild & a little insane.

WekFest is one of the more unusual automotive events. The automotive gathering started back in San Francisco in 2008. With a focus on a wide range on autos, it is the JDM, luxury, and imports have make the most noise and impact. In other words, it is Lexus paradise.

However, it is the ethos of WekFest that sets it apart. It is for the enthusiasts, featuring top notch cars. Custom car culture never looked so good. Cars and trucks at WekFest are jaw-dropping, and occasionally head-scratching. But always exciting.

After last year’s cancellation, WekFest USA is back for 2021. Named “The Motoring Spirit”, it is a shorter schedule that years past. Rolling into San Jose on November 21, and Austin on December 11; the show is open to all. Although cars on display have to be something truly special.

Like a modded LFA.

Wekfest has chosen a simple but effective formula: Highlighting the people, their build, and their story.

The premier auto event encourages drivers to think different and build different. However, there is a distinct emphasis on quality. Quality here is measured not in terms of money, but on the originality, execution, and personal vision.

Organizers have a screening process for exhibitors. And it is a little tough. But it does ensure that the most inspired and remarkable builds in the community are rightfully featured.

Last month WekFest hit Los Angeles with about 450 of the most choice cars, trucks and SUVs. JDM, import, luxury, and performance vehicles were largely represented. And the Lexus F is everywhere.

But it is cars that are the real story. Enthusiasts build from truly fascinating perspectives, and swap and mod Lexus and Toyota in ways that we never considered–but we love it. Many bring out levels of performance with elevated style and design.
