Drifting the LFA in Anger
The LFA is one of the greatest gifts that the automotive world has ever received. It took ten years to create, it uses what is essentially the engine from a Formula One car, and there were only 500 ever built. So what should you do with your automotive masterpiece if you happen to be the proud owner of one? I suggest slapping a big wing on it and going drifting like this guy in the video below.
It may seem insane to take such a cool machine and go honing it, but this car has lived a rough life. While it used to be a normal LFA, it suffered massive flood damage and was set to be scrapped. To give the car a new life, it has become a one-of-a-kind drift monster that is now powered by a Toyota TRD Nascar V8. Rumored output is in the neighborhood of 1000 angry ponies. It may be sad to know that the sonorous V10 has been removed, but its hard to argue with the results.
It’s a full 90-second segment of awesome V8 wail, tire smoke, and a giggling Japanese driver. If this doesn’t make you happy, nothing will.
