What's it Like to Lay the Hammer Down in a Lexus LFA?

It is hard to imagine a more exciting experience than driving the 4.8 liter V10 powered high-performance supercar. And that exhaust note…wow.

The Lexus LFA is, in our opinion, one of the coolest cars ever created. When Lexus released the super-sexy supercar at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2009, it got jaws dropping and tongues wagging. The LFA boasted face-melting speed and horsepower, cool styling, and a decidedly exotic car vibe. But it wasn’t exactly attainable for most of us. Only 500 were produced, and it came with a price tag of $375,000. Gulp.

Still, it remains a cult favorite. Reasons for this include that brilliant V10 engine, its quick throttle response, the 553 horsepower, and the hottest exhaust note. The LFA hits 60 mph in under 3.7 seconds and reaches top speeds of 202 mph. Yeah, we’re still a little obsessed.

We came across the Instagram account of World_auto_all and we blown away by his video. It gives us a chance to drive the LFA, well, vicariously through the magic of cyberspace.

Translated, it basically asks if we like this “normal ride” in a Lexus LFA. Oh, do we ever. We’re not sure where this was shot, it seems to indicate Dubai. But it is the perfect deserted road to really open up the LFA, put the pedal to the metal, and experience that sheer ecstasy. We especially love seeing that rear spoiler rise.

Oddly, the LFA never sold out. There are still 8 available. So, if you’re in the market for, you’re in luck.

Check out the video, and turn those speakers up!
