Though the first-gen GS was no slouch by Nineties performance standards, the second-gen took things up a notch. Under the hood of the new GS 400, a 4.0-liter V8 cranked out 300 ponies and 310 lb-ft of torque. The 2020 GS line makes 11 more horses and 30 less lb-ft of torque, but with all-wheel drive, it can still carve those canyons.
