GS F Hits the Market For a New Garage to Call Home
Seller needs a new pool, offers up GS F in the Club Lexus Marketplace with around 69,000 miles on the 467-horse V8.
Earlier this year, Lexus dropped a bombshell: the GS line, including the venerable GS F, would fade into the sunset at the end of the 2020 model year. Sold alongside the ES and LS from the start, only a few thousand found homes every year, per Car and Driver.
Speaking of homes, a 2016 GS F seeks a new garage to call home through the Club Lexus Marketplace. Let’s see what this ride has to offer for the new owner, shall we?
From Burnouts to Swimming Pools
“Not in a hurry for sale,” writes 18017. “Pool will be replacing this garage queen. If you’re in the market for one of these, then you understand they don’t come up for sale too often.”
Under the hood of this GS F lies its 5.0-liter V8. Residing within, 467 horses with 389 lb-ft of torque ready to leave everyone in the dust. The big V8 logged around 69,000 miles since leaving the showroom four years or so ago.
GS-F Certified Awesome
Few mods found their way into the Nebula Gray GS F. The stock wheels were powder-coated black, and the exhaust features quad tips. Otherwise, the Circuit Red seating, orange calipers, and LED headlights are all factory options.
The seller is the second owner of the Lexus, having purchased the car as certified pre-owned from the dealer. The car’s warrantied through March 2024, including service intervals at 75,000 and 80,000 miles, or through March 2022, whichever comes first.
Ready for the Roads to Come
As far as maintenance goes, the GS F received the full treatment at the seller’s dealer upon reaching 60,000 miles. The tires still have plenty of life, the wheels present no curb rash. Finally, the front brake rotors and pads, along with the battery, all were replaced 10,000 miles ago. Thus, this Lexus is well-sorted for the next owner.
The California-based seller seeks $49,000 on the GS F; the sale will occur at his credit union. Not a bad price, though. Not when the outgoing 2020 model starts at $85,000.
