High School Lexus Owner Voted Best Car for Class of 2020 (We’re Not Surprised)

Young Lexus IS 250 owner makes all the waves around No Cal and on Instagram, including his high school graduation parade.

There are many places where a Lexus may hang out at any given moment. The dealership is the most obvious spot, followed by a meet-up. You might see a few chilling at the club parking lot, or along the high street. It’s even possible to find one or two in the high school parking lot. You might even think those rides belong to the principal or the district superintendent. And you’d be right. Most of the time.

However, here’s a rare instance where it’s a high school student who owns the Lexus in the lot. Specifically, a second-gen IS 250 owned by Instagrammer Justin Ta (a.k.a. lexis250). Let’s see how he got to be the most popular kid in school.

A Pandemic Silver Lining

“Congratulations to all the seniors in the class of 2020 WE MADE IT,” Ta wrote on his graduation day. “I brought Lexi into the parade, winning the best car in high school.”

It certainly didn’t hurt Ta upgraded his IS 250’s headlights with VLAND units prior to winning the title, though. Of course, this is one clean Lexus overall, one he’s owned since before giving the car its own Instagram on February 21, 2019.

And what a way to start an Instagram account! The first few photos, along with dozens more over the months since, were shot by San Francisco cinematographer Isaac Arias (iisaacproductions on Instagram).

Arias’ portfolio includes dramatic shots of the ongoing (as of this post) Gold Fire, music festivals, and a Lexus RC F. Thus, Ta’s IS 250 benefits from a pro behind the lens.

Ta himself is a pro in building his Lexus. Aside from the headlight upgrade, the Lexus received an interior re-wrap, diamond-quilted headliner, and some body repair work, all done by Ta. A set of ESR SR01s completes the package.

This Lexus rocks our socks. We’d certainly love a ride with Ta wherever he goes (including a new photo shoot with Arias). We wish him all the best in his build, and on the highway of life.
