When I think of carbon fiber, I think of a material that’s lightweight, strong, and expensive. But apparently I was wrong about at least one of those, as today’s How-To Tuesday mod — wrapping the interior of your Lexus IS in carbon fiber foil — will cost you less than a $100 bucks.
That’s according to an article over in our “How-To” section (and the corresponding video below), which puts the cost of such an attractive mod at the very reasonable price range between $20 and $100, which is a whole lot better than the pro cost that ranges between $100 and $300.
Equally exciting to a relatively cheap mod is the fact that this is a relatively easy one, which only requires a few tools and minimal materials.
The article explains exactly what materials you’ll need, and then teaches you, in step-by-step fashion, how to apply those materials to your Lexus IS 250 or 350, between the 2004 and 2014 model years.
