How-To Tuesday: Picking the Perfect Paint for Your Lexus
Often times, our How-To Tuesday article (and corresponding video!) will help you complete a project all by your lonesome, in the true spirit of DIY. This is not one of those Tuesdays. Today’s article is really just here to help you pick the perfect paint job for your Lexus, with the understanding that you should probably not try painting the car yourself. Are we clear?
That’s not to say we don’t trust your DIY skills, because we do. Why else would we go to all the trouble of writing all these How-To articles and making these videos? But painting is a skill acquired over time, and if you haven’t mastered that skill, you should probably avoid painting your Lexus. Such a fine car deserves as much.
But even if you’re not applying it, there’s lots to learn about just picking paint. Like the ins and outs of all the various different kinds. You’ve got your metallic paint, which not only looks stunning, but can also increase the resale value of your Lexus. Or flat paint, which some people love, but manufactures often avoid. Or candy paint, which is applied in three various stages, all of which add up to a delicious look.
