How-To Tuesday: Why Is Your Lexus Pulling in One Direction?
Sometimes all you want to do is go one way, but the universe keeps pulling you back in the other direction. That’s a very difficult problem to solve, which you may want to consult a Yogi about. However, if your Lexus is pulling in one direction, it’s a much easier fix.
Chances are, your car pulling in one direction is caused by one of two main issues, both of which are very simple to identify, and then fix. However it could be something a bit more serious. Either way, today’s How-To Tuesday article is here to help.
Most likely, if your car is pulling to one side or the other, your car is misaligned. You can tell if that’s the case by checking the tread on your tires, and making sure it’s even. If you’ve got the tools and the know-how to adjust the alignment yourself, have at ’em, otherwise, it’s probably best to take the car in for servicing.
If it’s not the car’s alignment, odds are good it’s the tire pressure. To determine if this is indeed the cause of the problem, simply check your Lexus’s recommended air pressure range, either online, inside the driver’s door, or in the owner’s manual. Then make sure you’re parked on a flat surface, and use an air pressure gauge to check the levels. If you’re low, adjust accordingly.
If neither the alignment or the tire pressure is to blame, you could be dealing with a broken suspension part, or perhaps a problem with your brakes. Today’s How-To article can help you more specifically identify the problem, though if that’s the case, DIY-ing is probably not the best fix.
Whatever’s causing your car to pull in one direction, we’re pulling for you to figure it out and straighten up!
