Incredible Lexus LS VIP Build Takes Shape

Lexus LS VIP

Member’s dream build makes a rockstar’s limo look lame in comparison!

The slammed, stanced, luxurious look known as “VIP” is incredibly popular here at Club Lexus. Mostly because our favorite, big-bodied luxury cars make perfect candidates for this unique style. For those reasons, we can’t get enough of them, and neither can our members. Take a stroll through the forums, and you’re bound to find tons of awesome VIP builds. But one of the most recent — and most awesome — comes to us from NvUSLEX in the form of this special Lexus LS VIP.

“I’ve owned my Lexus LS for a couple of years now. From the moment I saw my first VIP Lexus I knew what I wanted. It took me a few months to find the right one, but I ended up scoring a one owner UL. Here is what it looked like the day I bought it.”

With a solid base to start with, turning this sweet sedan into a show-worthy Lexus LS VIP ride wasn’t too difficult.

“The first thing I had planned for the build was air suspension. I wound up going with an AccuAir Vu4 with UAS bags over a Function Form type 2 coilover. My trunk setup is simple but clean, thanks to Air Ride Equipment in Redlands, CA.”

With the stance just right, it was time for the OP to turn his attention to the interior. Because the other half of the VIP experience involves cushy insides, of course.

“With the interior, I wanted to keep it clean and simple. So I went with JP curtains, neck pillows, and a table for the front. In the rear, I wound up going with Jaguar tables and wooden floor inserts.”

With a few simple mods, the freshly done Lexus LS VIP was looking mighty fine. But the OP isn’t done with it just yet.

“The next thing on my list is to get some lower control arms, camber arms, toe arms, and upper control arms.”

In the meantime, a fresh set of wheels arrived.

“So after a few months of waiting, my wheels from Japan came in. I went with 20×10.5 Work DD5.2 with a 5-inch lip up front and 20×11 with a 6.8-inch lip for the rear. I also wound up getting my Megan arms and Figs upper control arms for the front.”

At this point, things are progressing nicely on this awesome Lexus LS VIP build. But you can bet the OP isn’t done yet. You can follow along as this killer ride progresses by heading over here and checking out the entire build thread!
