2018 Lexus LC 500

Bone-stock 2018 LC 500 a bargain for those shopping for the flagship grand-touring coupe from Lexus, includes extended warranty.

Eight years after the SC left production, Lexus introduced its new flag carrier in the grand-touring coupe game, the LC 500. Unlike the sporty SC of yore, the LC looked the part of a sports car. It also offered power to match from its big V8, plus plenty of comfortable cruising to go around.

A 2022 LC 500 starts at just over $93,000. However, one of our Club Lexus members is parting ways with his 2018 LC 500 coupe for, relatively speaking, a bargain.

According to the seller, iamnaeem, this Caviar LC 500 is in “great condition” with just over 42,000 miles on the odometer. It even has an extended warranty, and a service plan with a year and a half left on it. This being Lexus, though, most of the service it’ll need will come in the form of fluid changes and the like. Plus, it’s still quite young in Lexus years, likely in first grade by now.

Under the long hood is, of course, the LC 500’s 5.0-liter V8 with 471 horsepower ready to launch the flagship coupe to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. Those ponies find the road through a 10-speed direct-shift automatic, giving the rear 20-inch wheels quite the workout on the open road. And none of those ponies have been tuned for more power, nor have any mods been performed. As the seller states, the LC is as stock as it was when it was first purchased.

Inside, the LC 500 welcomes one and all with Circuit Red and black leather seating, all protected from the sun thanks to the window tint surrounding the cabin. Apple iPhone owners can make use of Apple CarPlay through the infotainment system, or just enjoy the view of the road passing by.

The LC 500 receives regular service, ensuring this ride is ready to glide across the desert and beyond at a moment’s notice. And at $76,000 or best offer, it’s not a bad deal. Especially for those looking for a prime example of the greatest flagship coupe Lexus has built since the SC and the LFA.
