LC 500 Looks Beautiful in Blue While Filming in Spain

Okay, we’ll admit it, this photo of the new 2017 LC 500 could be a lot better. But hey, at least you can get a feel for how good she’ll look in blue, right?

As the obnoxiously placed watermark tells us, this pic comes to us courtesy of motor.es, who spied Lexus’s newest halo car while filming on Spain’s Almeria coast. Though the light isn’t necessarily telling, and we’ve got nothing even close to official to go on, the car appears to be bathed beautifully in Electric Blue.

AutoEvolution astutely points out that Lexus offered up a similarly red and blue duality for the LC-LF, the concept that gave the LC 500 life. You can see both shades of the concept in the gallery below. But can you spot the differences between the concept and the production car? Staggeringly similar, eh?

Indeed, and that’s a testament to both the design and engineering teams, who were tasked with keeping the concept’s aggressive looks while providing all the performance the LC 500 will offer.

I’m sure we’ll be seeing plenty more of the LC 500 in blue soon, perhaps as soon as the LC 500’s official European debut next month in Geneva. So stay tuned.
