10-year trial

Safety is important to Lexus, and they are proving it with a 10-year trial period to their suite of online services to help drivers stay secure.

When you think of Lexus you probably first think luxury, and quality. But another key component to the Lexus brand is safety. Safety Connect and Service Connect, are a suite of available services that help drivers and passengers stay safe and secure while on the road. These services require a subscription to remain active. And recently Lexus announced that they will be offering a 10-year trial period on select 2023 Lexus models. They will also extend the same offer to 2022 Lexus NX and LX models. That is quite the generous offer. Have you ever received a 10-year trial on anything before?

“We are constantly looking at ways to offer our guests an enhanced driving experience,” said Steve Basra, group vice president, Connected Technologies, Toyota Motor North America. “With our new extended trials of Connected Services, a wide array of features is now available to Lexus drivers so they can have added peace of mind.” The 10-year trail will be offered on the following 2023 Lexus models: ES, NX, LS, LX, RX, RZ, and UX.

Safety Connect

Safety Connect as the name would indicate is all about occupant safety. It includes Emergency Assistance (SOS) which will connect you to a response center agent at the press of a button 24-hours a day. Enhanced Roadside Assistance is also included. Again, at the press of a button 24/7 you will be connected to roadside assistance for help with things like dead batteries, and flat tires. Automatic Collision Notification is part of the bundle for when the worst happens. The 24-hour Lexus response center will be automatically notified in the case of an airbag deployment or severe rear end collision. Stolen Vehicle Locator will help police locate and track a stolen vehicle with the help of embedded cellular and GPS technology.

This suite of features is all about your vehicle. Vehicle Health Report is included and can provide the vehicles vitals such as fuel and oil levels as well as mileage and more. This information can be accessed via the Lexus app or on LexusDrivers.com. Vehicle Alerts. Vehicle malfunctions are sent to both the owner and the Lexus dealer as part of this service. Maintenance Alerts. Also, part of Service Connect, this will send scheduled maintenance alerts from the vehicle to the customer’s preferred Lexus dealer.

LX

This trial will likely last longer than most people own the car. But with vehicle loans getting longer and longer it will be nice for owners to have peace of mind throughout their entire time with their new Lexus. Having these suite of vehicle services available to them will provide that. Lexus did not specify in their release if this trial will extend beyond the original owner if the car is sold before the trial period ends. Regardless it is a most welcomed offer from Lexus to include this extended trial period on many of their most popular models.
