This Lexus-Badged Camry Thing Literally Causes Heart Palpitations
Sure, it’s not a Lexus. But it does have a Lexus badge, and though this Camry is every bit of a conundrum, you have to admit this much: you can’t look away.
What you see here is Instagram user @zachonthat‘s “ratrod,” as he’s so cleverly hashtagged it. And honestly, that’s about the most solid information we have to go on. But perhaps that’s a good thing, as this creation isn’t so much about facts, as it is about possibility.
Now, thanks to zachonthat’s prodigious posting, we know this monstrosity is indeed possible. Unfortunately, so do his neighbors. And judging from one of their notes below, those horns on the hood actually work:
Hopefully zachonthat has stopped honking around the homestead, although that’s not going to save the rest of his neighbors from eye palpitations.
Besides being the loudest car on his Florida block — yes, Florida — zachonthat’s ride also sports a number of features that you just don’t see all that often. Like the submarine hatch…
