Lexus Debuts Safety and Police RC F’s

For instance, the RC F is one of the hottest selling cars on the planet right now. For Japan alone, the RC F and its baby brother the RC 350 are sold out for the next two years. A fairly strong point when you consider it’s built there. However, that pent up demand hasn’t stopped others from getting their hands on the new coupe.

Last week, both Dubai’s Police force, and Australia’s V8 Supercar race series got a host of new RC F’s delivered. While the RC F is perhaps one of the most homely police cars in the country’s police force, it’s sure to make an entrance with its good looks.

However, the real story is the RC F’s that went to the Australian V8 Supercar series. For a long time, Lexus has been fighting with the race organizers to let the RC F race in the series. However, due to rules and regulations that state the base car must be four doors, it hasn’t happened. This gift of a few RC F’s for Safety and Medical cars, though is likely a sort of greasing the wheels to potentially allow the car to race in the series.

That said, both the police cars and safety cars look absolutely stunning in the blues and twos livery.
