Lexus F Sports Abstract Paint and Hurl Baseballs, Slowly
You may think you know the Lexus RC350 F Sport, but did you know the car is a world class abstract painter? Or how ’bout the IS F Sport, did you know that besides being a masterfully engineered luxury sports sedan, she’s also a flame-throwing baseball pitcher?
Well, if you watch the latest F Sport ads, you’d know such things. Or at least that’s what you might assume. But if you read the fine print of the commercials shown below, you’ll get what Lexus is really trying to say. Hopefully you’ll get it… probably… well, maybe.
As you can see, both ads begin with the phrase, “Golden opportunities are easy to miss, so let’s slow things down.” Then both cars show off skills, very slowly, in areas that have seemingly nothing to do with driving. The RC F Sport drives through vibrantly colored paint, ostensibly to show off the all-wheel drive technology. And the IS F Sport acts as a pitching machine while somehow displaying its power.
Okay, so the ads are a bit esoteric, but who cares? They still look gorgeous while showing off beautiful cars doing outlandishly cool things. If nothing else, at least they’re original.
After said cool things, both ads then declare that you should “turn every ride into a thrill ride” and not miss the Golden Opportunities sales event. Which I definitely won’t, if they’re actually selling this beautifully painted RC 350 F Sport.
