Lexus LC 500 Blue and White Interior Is Simply Stunning
The Lexus LC 500 is available with some seriously stunning interior color options, but this might be the ‘richest’ of the bunch.
The Lexus LC 500 is an absolutely stunning thing to look at. This much we can all agree on. But as great as the outside of Lexus’ coupe looks, we feel like the inside is a bit underrated. Lexus designers put a great deal of effort into the threads of this masterpiece, for obvious reasons. If you want people to use the grand tourer as intended, the inside has to be a comfy (and stylish) place to sit for extended periods of time.
So as you might imagine, interior colors for the Lexus LC 500 delve into parts of the spectrum typically reserved for ultra-luxury cars. Perhaps none more so than the combination of blue and white. The color combination looks absolutely stunning in pictures, almost like something you’d see in a Bentley or Rolls Royce. Which, coincidentally, is why Magellan55 was curious to see if the color combo looked as good in real life.
“Does anyone have the blue/white interior, or seen it in person? Looks pretty rich in pictures, but I’m wondering what it’s like in real life. My dealer says they haven’t seen it yet either. Kind of reminds me of a Rolls Royce “land yacht” interior.”
Turns out, TimboIS has in fact seen one in real life. And he’s got pretty much the same concerns we harbor about white seats.
“I’ve seen it and sat in one in Japan. The red/brown trim with the blue leather is unique, but those white seats. I can’t imagine they’d keep well. My dealer requires a larger, non-refundable deposit for anyone ordering that interior. Would be a hard sell if the buyer backed out.”
But there’s no denying the visual appeal of this stunning color combination for folks like Kira X.
“I love that interior. We had one at my dealership but someone bought it as soon as it hit the showroom. The new owner is removing the orange and putting in a different fabric.
i would totally buy an LC with the blue interior. It reminds me of the old MKIII Supras and Camrys that had blue interiors in the late 80’s.”
Still, we can’t blame folks like TLC500 for passing on the blue and white (and orange) out of fear.
“Love that interior but I didn’t have the ***** to order it. I got the infrared and caramel”
G Star is a little perplexed that anyone would want to remove the orange. And like us, he’s curious if anyone has tips for keeping white seats clean. Other than keeping kids, fast food, and construction workers out of the car, of course.
“Thats really interesting he’s doing that, I love the bespoke white interior, its my choice when I put in my order later this year. Love the white seats, the orange and even the dark blue leather.
I have no idea how to maintain all that white leather though, anybody have tips?”
If, like the OP, you’re digging the look in pictures but can’t seem to find one in person, Hoppean found a couple of videos showing off the unique color combination.
Starting at the 0:35 second mark in this vid.
And around the 11:30 mark in this one.
But after watching the first video, we couldn’t help but notice just how incredible the all-red interior on this particular Lexus LC 500 looks, too. Lexus is truly making it difficult for us with all of these drool-worthy interior color choices. But we want to know, which color combination would you choose? Would you dare opt for the blue/white/orange threads? Let us know in the comments below!
