Lexus Named AutoTrader’s Top Luxury CPO Program

You know what never gets old? A Certified Pre-Owned Lexus. You know what else doesn’t get old? Another Lexus “Best” award. Now, thanks to AutoTrader, we get to talk about both!

AutoTrader just named Lexus’s “L/Certified” their winner for Best CPO Programs in the Luxury category (after earning second place last year). In the cheap car category, Hyundai took home the honor.

The respected auto site also listed nine other luxury and non-luxury CPO programs that aren’t as good as Lexus, but “are worthy of your consideration based on several criteria that include powertrain warranty length (with a minimum of 6 years or 100,000 miles of coverage), bumper-to-bumper warranty length, deductible amount, and transferability to future owners.”

This year, AutoTrader also de-emphasized the importance of deductible prices on their voting process, while putting more weight behind the powertrain warranty.

Obviously, Lexus’s CPO warranty is top notch. It covers bumper-to-bumper for up to six years, and unlimited mileage from the original selling date. And there’s no deductible for covered repairs. Add to that “complimentary maintenance covering the next four factory-recommended services for two years or 20,000 miles,” and you’ve got yourself the making of yet another “Best” award for Lexus.
