Lexus Named America’s Top Luxury Brand
According to a survey sent out to five million customers, Lexus is named Top Luxury Brand in U.S. and Canada.
Reputation, a company that deals in customer surveys, recently analyzed review and survey data from 35,000 dealerships to find out which brands the people prefer. A total of five million voices revealed that the top choice for best luxury brand was none other than Lexus. The data, aimed at giving dealerships an idea on how to improve buyer experience, also learned that Lexus as a brand places first when reliability, reputation, and pricing were concerned. On a scale of 0-100%, the sentiment for Lexus was 65% positive – more than any other luxury brand analyzed.
Lexus also scored first on the digital front, having positive marks in the digital shopping sector. Lexus’ website was reportedly very easy to use. Finding local dealerships, exploring different models and trims, and speaking to customer service added to customer sentiment. Additionally, Lexus dealerships were said to be hosts of pleasant and helpful staff, have aesthetically pleasing showrooms, and have easier financing. Therefore, many Lexus dealerships received stellar reviews – of which, 85% of the respondents said made a huge difference in their purchasing decision.
Last year, Lexus scored second – but not this year. For 2022, Reputation’s results show that Lexus listens to their customers a little closer than others. For instance, the brand that placed second, Infiniti, was first last year only to be bested by Lexus. Lexus’ scores rose in the digital realm, such as social media posts and interaction, meaning that Lexus was able to successfully reach more audiences. The official account for Lexus on Tik Tok has 40,000 followers, proving that younger potential buyers are interested in keeping up with the brand.
Top Luxury Brand in Other Arenas
While this study is great news for Lexus dealerships and corporate, Lexus has won more than a few awards this year in other categories. Listed on J.D. Power’s website, Lexus was awarded the quality award – only given to automakers who have had the least amount of issues per 100 drivers during the first 90 days of ownership. The company has also earned awards for service quality and dependability. The 2022 IS won overall best premium sedan, with a consumer rating of 90/100.
