Lexus RC F GT500 Stars in New Bridgestone Ad
Toyota’s current GT500 racer is built on the RC F and it looks bonkers as hell. It is all wings, fender flares, and body kit extensions that devours track in the front and spits noise out the back. Bridgestone is the supplier of the Potenza racing tires being used on the car this year, and they used their sponsor access to create the stellar commercial below. It is only 30-seconds long, but it is beautifully shot with nice angles, good contrast, and a prodigious use of slow motion. It feels a lot like a Top Gear film.
Not only does it look great, but the car you are watching is also amazing, and I will take any chance I can get to see more of the GT500 RC F in motion. It just looks silly fast and crazy in all the right ways. There is a scene in the video where the car cuts across the track and it looks so fast I thought it was faked for a moment. I considered that maybe they sped up the film, but with a car this fast, they wouldn’t have to.
