More. Power. MORE! Wait, what was the question?

Today we’re looking at a new supercharger that will be coming out for Lexus’s little toy coupe, the RC F. Sponsor BPauto pointed it out when they spotted the new kit in the February 2016 issue of the Japanese tuning magazine Option.

In its original form, the Lexus RC F, which starts at about $63,000 MSRP, uses a 5.0-liter 90-degree V8 to pump out 467 horsepower and 389 lb-ft of torque. That all goes to the rear wheels through an eight-speed transmission.

This kit uses predominantly HKS parts, a company known for providing Lexuses with similar kits, and it uses an HKS 8555. The main parts needed are a different or tuned ECU and a new fuel system with injectors. To be on the safe side, BPauto explains that new forced induction should be backed by an upgraded exhaust and stronger block parts, like forged pistons and rods.

So far there’s no word on price or whether or not it will be available in the U.S. But at least there’s some progress happening.
