Lexus Returns to U.S. Open for 10th Consecutive Year

With the U.S. Open heating up the Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania right now, you can see all the usual suspects on the tour — Phil Mickelson, Jordan Spieth, Sergio Garcia, and of course, Lexus.

This year’s golf tourney marks the tenth year in a row that Lexus is the official vehicle of the U.S. Open. No word on who’s buying who diamonds for the big anniversary.

As always, Lexus will provide courtesy cars to players and USGA staff throughout the Championship. This year, that adds up to over 300 beautiful Lexus vehicles.

As you’d expect from a 10-year relationship, Lexus is doing its best to keep things fresh by offering new interactive activities on-site, including autograph sessions with Lexus-sponsored golfers, and a chance to win a two-year lease on a new Lexus.

If you’ve already got a Lexus and you’re visiting Oakmont, you can park in one of the 100 VIP spaces set aside solely for Lexus rides. And for those of you who don’t, we’re truly sorry, but please enjoy a courtesy UberLexus ride if you’re in the area.

Perhaps the most exciting part of it all is that Lexus will also be displaying the talk of the car world: the 2018 LC 500. Hopefully they won’t have it situated too close to the greens though, as we wouldn’t want the golfers to be totally distracted by the new flagship convertible’s beauty.
