Lexus Shows Off New Lineup in Qatar
In huge booth at Qatar Motor Show, Lexus gives peek at what’s in store.
At the recent Qatar Motor Show, Lexus made quite an impact. In the almost 4,000 square foot area, Lexus showed off a variety of cars from its lineup, highlighted by the exciting LC500 Coupe.
Dr. Nasser Abdulghani Al Abdulghani, Chairman at Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co., told Qatar’s daily newspaper, The Peninsula: “The attractive shape and contemporary style of the new LC500 Coupe represents the future design of the Lexus brand.” The LC500 Coupe is definitely the most interesting car discussed at the show. With it’s futuristic, but impractical, design, the car is beautiful and luxurious, but it is definitely not made to be your daily driver.

However, the LC500 wasn’t the only Lexus given the spotlight at the show. There were also booths dedicated to hybrid vehicles, like the RX 450h and the GS 450h. On the opposite side of the spectrum, Lexus also showed off their high performance vehicles. The GS F and the RC F were shown, in all their 8-cylinder, 5.0 liter glory.
Yugo Miyamoto, Lexus Middle East General Manager, said: “We would like to be a luxury lifestyle brand that doesn’t just provide cars but also appeals to human emotion stimulating the imagination and offering a sense of surprise.”
Lexus has quite a foothold in Qatar, where it has made a name for itself as one of the best car companies operating in the area. With 8 service centers, open seven days a week, spread throughout the region, Lexus is known for supplying car buyers with excellent vehicles and incredible service that’s second-to-none.
