Lexus Adds All-new Sport Package to 2020 LX 570
Lexus’ flagship SUV gets new styling inside and out, as well as updated high-tech features.
Lexus is giving buyers of the 2020 LX 570 a new way and additional options to express their style with the introduction of the all-new Sport Package. Available on the 3-row model only, the new interior and exterior styling package enhances the LX’s traditional lines with a few noteworthy updates.
The exterior sports an exclusive sport grille and front fascia, revised lower rear valence, and body color side mirrors with chrome accents. Inside, the luxury is abundant with semi-aniline, leather-trimmed seats in Black, Cabernet, or exclusive Moonlight White, and black headliner.
LX models with the Sport Package also include the Luxury package. This includes heated/ventilated front and rear seats, a four-zone climate concierge, LX projector door lamps, 21″ 10-spoke alloy wheels, a Mark Levinson 19-speaker surround sound audio system, heated linear espresso wood steering wheel, head up display, and a wireless charging pad.
Powering the LX 570 is a 5.7-liter V8 engine with 383 horsepower and 90% of its 403 lb.-ft. of torque available at 3,600 rpm. Equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the LX 570 is capable of towing up to 7,000 pounds.
The LX’s sturdy body-on-frame structure is combined with a multi-terrain system to enhance the driver’s control over challenging, varied landscapes. The system adapts to five different types of terrain: Rock, Rock and Dirt, Mogul, Loose Rock, and Mud and Sand.
There multiple safety features included in the Lexus Safety System+; Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Intelligent High-Beam headlamps, and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
The 2020 Lexus LX 570 goes on sale in September with a base price of $83,280 for the two-row mode, and $91,380 for the three-row model. Sport Package models will have a base price of $99,300.
