Lexus Takes Home Top Luxury Brand Image Award
Kelly Blue Book recognizes Lexus for their brave and emotional design language.
The Lexus brand has always been known for legendary reliability and build quality. But now they’re also receiving recognition for producing vehicles that employ a bold, emotional design language. And this combination of appealing factors have secured yet another pair of awards for the automaker. Kelly Blue Book has named Lexus its Best Overall Luxury Brand and Most Trusted Luxury Brand in their 2017 Brand Image Awards.
The Brand Image Awards aren’t just awarded based on a small group of privileged opinions, either. They’re based on actual consumer feedback representing over 12,000 new vehicle shoppers on the site. KBB takes that data and assigns points based on 12 different factors, including everything from reputation to performance.
2017 marks the second consecutive year Lexus has topped all other luxury brands. And as KBB notes, the evolution in design language makes this somewhat of a landslide victory. “From the very beginning, the Lexus brand has stood for exceptional quality, reliability and value, all of which carry universal appeal. Today’s Lexus is also more stylish and more emotionally appealing than ever, giving the brand multi-faceted appeal.”
This year also marked another consecutive victory for Lexus as a trusted luxury brand. Given their track record, it’s also pretty much impossible to argue with the repeat. “Car shoppers trust Lexus because it’s been building some of the most trustworthy vehicles on the road for more than a quarter century now,” KBB points out. “In addition to an exceptional reliability record and proven dedication to safety, the Lexus dealership experience is consistently cited by owners as one of the best parts of owning a Lexus.”
It’s just further confirmation that a brand once known as “boring” now produces some of the best looking vehicles on the market. They just also happen to be rock solid reliable and feature top notch build quality.
