Lexus to Reveal All-New 2013 GS on Facebook

Lexus is set to unveil its all-new 2013 GS 350 midsize luxury sedan at
this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and you’ll be able to see
it live on Facebook this coming Aug. 18.

The new GS should really shake
things up in a segment where Lexus needs to do something bold to keep up
with competing luxury models.

“Today, buyers in the mid–size
luxury segment want a more engaging driving experience, styling that
makes a statement, and a roomier interior package,” said Mark Templin,
Lexus group vice president and general manager. “With the all-new GS,
we’re giving them what they asked for, and more.”

   

Like the smaller IS 350, the current Lexus GS line of rear-wheel drive luxury sport sedans
offers plenty of comfort and refinement while often trailing the
world’s best from Germany, Japan and the U.S. when it comes to handling
and driver engagement. Hopefully the new GS will be a step in the right
