Custom Lexus UX a Vibrant Tribute to Mexican Cinema at L.A. Auto Show
Featuring artwork by a noted grafitti artist, the Lexus UX 200 F Sport is a star.
Lexus is having a very exciting week at the L.A. Auto Show. They have had their lineup on display, as well debuting the Lexus LF-30 Concept and the the LC 500 Convertible. Custom builds are also a big draw at the show. This custom Lexus UX was a burst of color and energy.
Designed by graffiti artist Vyal One, the crossover is impossible to miss. The hood is emblazoned with the word “Diseño de pelicula,” spanish for “Film Design.”
In the F Sport Aero Styling Package by TRD Japan, the UX has added sporty appeal.
The artist worked with designer Walter Isaacson and VIP Auto Salon to create the design and style. Modifications include a front lip spoiler, side trim, rear diffuser, mirror spoiler, and custom APR carbon fiber diffuser.
It has been fitted with an Apexi N1 Evo suspension, and includes a custom exhaust.
Rolling on Vossen wheels and Nitto Invo tires, the UX is topped with custom Yakima ShowCase cargo box.
It is impressive how effectively the artist conveyed so much energy in his design. The body design really enriched the UX’s lines, and worked nicely with showcasing its versatility.
One of the great things about an auto show is how modifications and ingenuity can make us see these vehicles in a new and exciting light.
We will be reporting from L.A. Auto Show which is going on until December 1–stay tuned!
