LFA Races a Flying Eclipse

No, not the discontinued coupe from Mitsubishi. As much as I would like to see that, I get the feeling it would be a really one sided race. No, by eclipse we mean an Eclipse 500 business jet.

Now, this isn’t exactly a new idea. Ever since Top Gear raced the Bugatti against a Euro Fighter jet, it’s been something of a super car tradition to race some kind of aircraft. Generally, it ends with the car getting spanked. But occasionally, the race is a little bit closer than you might think. This is actually one of those close ones.

Honestly though, a Mitsubishi Eclipse with rockets strapped to the roof Mythbusters style would’ve been a much more interesting combination. But I guess an actual jet is pretty cool as well. Check it out below.
